Financial Services – Business Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive Functional Design Documents and effectively communicate technical details to developers. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, technical proficiency, and industry-specific knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed Functional Design Documents based on business requirements.
- Liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure clear understanding and implementation of solutions.
- Support DocuSign-related processes and troubleshoot user issues as needed.
- Utilize Azure and DevOps tools for project tracking, collaboration, and deployment management.
- Manage and resolve incidents or service requests within ServiceNow.
- Work with various Microsoft Office applications for documentation, data analysis, and reporting.
- Read and interpret XML files for data extraction and validation.
- Apply knowledge of leasing and sales pricing to support business processes and decision-making.
- Troubleshooting and analyzes errors to identify their root causes and determine viable solutions (i.e., system improvements, triggering errors, mapping errors, human errors, training needs, etc.)
- Ensures new technology capabilities are compatible with the current application software architecture and the current technical architecture and business
- Develops and maintains training materials, technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Degree (advantage if related to MIS).
- Minimum 2 years of work experience.
- Proven experience in writing clear and comprehensive Functional Design Documents.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in conveying requirements to developers and technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with DocuSign platform and support.
- Proficiency in Azure and DevOps for project lifecycle management.
- Experience working with ServiceNow for IT service management.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to read and understand XML data structures.
- Proven experience with leasing and sales pricing concepts within a commercial environment.
- Added advantage if the person knows CapitalStream, Oracle; has sales experience; has credit experience and/or has experience with Origination Business process.
