Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Associate Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive Functional Design Documents and effectively communicate technical details to developers. This role required to support the IT function with assisting in areas like development, testing and implementing application systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Participates in IT functions like developing, coding and testing computer programs using scripting language (Velocity, JavaScript), MS Word, and JSON) within Capitalstream products.
- Assist in preparing technical and procedural documentation.
- Assist with detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for simple application programs.
- Participate in contributing solutions for programming system operations, including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.
- Follows secure development best practices and SDLC leasing and sales pricing to support business processes and decision-making.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 4-year college degree with minimum 2 years’ experience as a software engineer or developer
- Knowledge of concepts, methodologies, and activities in technical analysis
- Ability to forecast the direction of technical landscape using technical indicators and take collective actions.
- Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.
- Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
- Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design).
- Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
