Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provisioning: Deploy and configure Linux servers and VMware virtual machines.
• Monitoring: Track system health daily using AWS CloudWatch and vCenter.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve basic OS alerts, CPU spikes, and disk space issues.
• Maintenance: Apply regular patches to Linux systems and VMware templates.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• 2 years of practical technical support or system administration experience.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner , Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
• Candidates who are confident of clearing extensive Background verification till previous Organization only shall apply
• ITIL v4 Foundation

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Infrastructure as Code: Basic exposure to Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Configuration Management: Familiarity with Ansible playbooks.

BEHAVIORAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Learner: Eager to learn new cloud technologies rapidly.
• Teamwork: Collaborates effectively within a structured team environment.
• Communication: Clearly articulates technical issues in ticket updates.

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

PRIMARY SKILLS:

• Linux: Administration of RHEL/Ubuntu, user management, and file permissions, OS installation..
• VMware: Managing vSphere, ESXi hosts, and VM provisioning.
• AWS: Core services including EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC.
• AWS CloudWatch: Creating basic dashboards, metrics tracking, and configuring alarms.
• Fluent in English, in both oral and written communication
• Willingness to do 24x7 Rotational Shift, ability to working from office is preferred, location will be city with Yash Office.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Scripting: Basic automation using Bash or Python scripts.
• Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP concepts.
• Backup: Knowledge of snapshot management in VMware and AWS.
