Job Description:

 

Experience required: 0-3  years


The Associate Support, SAP, D&T requires knowledge and basic experience in Procurement/Material Management domain to support the relevant business functions. This role will also help determine to deliver SAP solutions required by business for these areas. The role handles the support and delivery of SAP Functional domains such as MFG, EWM, S2P, SD, PM and QM domain for production support in alignment with technical domains of West D&T and their company policies and procedures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Possess good understanding of the overall business needs and utilizes this knowledge to collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sourcing functions for Production Support.
  • Utilizes knowledge of best practices to determine business needs to support design & deliver technical solutions, doing so in partnership with Application, Infrastructure, and other integrated domains.
  • Work in close collaboration with various business leads, domain representatives etc.
  • Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements as described in User Stories, Gaps, Tasks in dev ops.
  • Provide system support and maintenance in alignment with standards and process set within the ERP Services Delivery model, West policies, and procedures as well as Regulatory requirements including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA GMP/GXP.
  • Create and facilitate system lifecycle documents and computer validation documents in accordance with West policies and procedures, including creation and maintenance of procedures and Job Aids.
  • Provide support in system and data monitoring activities.
  • Assist senior team members and supervisors in terms of Incident management activities, Dev Ops Sprint management, data analysis, Idoc and interface monitoring.
  • Work within and participates in the Change Control process.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
  • Exhibit regular, reliable, punctual, and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
  • Preferred 0.5 - 2 years of related SAP or domain work experience.
  • Preferred SAP Certification in relevant Functional Domain
  • Preferred but not required: Agile & Scrum Certification, ITIL


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding and knowledge of SAP functionality and technical understanding of SAP functional related areas (SD, MM, QM, PM, WM, PP, LE)
  • Must be up to date on latest SAP/ERP release.
  • SAP S/4 Hana knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work in a office as well as virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.

 

Proficient English language skills

  • Ability to work with global teams of several time zones, cultures, and regions.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Able to always comply with the company’s safety and quality policy.


Physical and Travel Requirements

  • 15% travel, including global travel.
  • Occasional off-site work is required.
