SAP FI Associate Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated SAP FI Associate Consultant to join our ERP team. The role involves supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) modules, assisting in implementation projects, and providing ongoing support to ensure smooth financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in SAP consulting with hands‑on exposure to finance processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement gathering: Assist senior consultants in collecting and analyzing business requirements for financial processes.
• Configuration support: Perform basic configuration of SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting).
• Testing: Support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT for SAP FI functionalities.
• Documentation: Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials.
• End‑user support: Provide first‑level support for SAP FI issues and escalate complex problems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams (MM, SD, CO) to ensure seamless integration.
• Continuous learning: Stay updated on SAP FI best practices and new releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or IT.
• SAP knowledge: Basic understanding of SAP FI modules and financial processes.
• Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data and identify process improvements.
• Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication for interacting with stakeholders.
• Problem‑solving: Aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
• Team player: Willingness to collaborate and learn from senior consultants.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in FI or related modules.
• Internship/experience in SAP implementation or support projects.
• Knowledge of integration with CO, MM, and SD modules.
• Understanding of finance processes such as accounts payable/receivable, asset management, and bank reconciliation.
