Job Description

1. Execute Techno Functional role on Oracle EBS, including strong OAF development. 
2. Contribute to the development and customization of reports, forms, interfaces, concurrent programs, PL/SQL, and WorkFlow. 
3. Provide technical consultancy on Financial Modules within Oracle Applications projects. 
4. Develop and utilize Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, User Defined Functions, Sub-Queries, and Joins for complex queries, along with creating technical documents and test scripts. 
5. Utilize Oracle Apps Tech-no Functional Knowledge to address challenges in Financials, Manufacturing, Distribution Modules, and ORDS. 

**Required Skills and Qualifications:** 
1. Proficiency in Oracle 9i/8i (SQL/PLSQL), Developer 2000 (Reports, Forms), SQL*Loader, UTL_FILE Utilities, and experience in report development and customization. 
2. Strong grasp of Work Flow and Oracle Application Framework (OAF). 
3. Extensive experience in developing new reports and customizing existing reports. 
4. Thorough understanding of Oracle EBS and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. 
5. Proven track record in handling complex queries, exception handlers, and technical documentation preparation.
6. Effective stakeholder management including the internal as well as external stakeholders for the project
7. Lead a team to deliver the expected business results
8. Execute unit testing to ensure the sanity of his/her developments.
9. Realistically estimate the requirements from an effort and cost perspective.
10. Realize the development/requirement as per the technical specification provided.
11. Adhere to all coding standards and performance measures, as per customer/organization guidelines.
12. Coordinate with the functional team for requirement gathering/understanding and convert functional specifications to technical specifications.
13. Handle Internal and External stakeholders of projects.
14. Mentor junior consultants on the team and provide assistance if needed.
15. Participate in testing activities along with functional counterparts and provide quick resolutions.
16. Coordinate with functional/business POCs for requirement analysis and to provide appropriate technical solutions.

 

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

Customer Management:

  • Has working knowledge of customers' business domains and technology suite. 
  • Use latest technology, proactively suggest solutions to increase business, and understand customer's business.

Projects Documentation:

  • Has In-depth understanding of documentation involved in Project like BBP & Solution Design, FS etc.
  • Able to build into require project documentation and can do a Peer review for team members documents.

Domain/ Industry Knowledge:

  •  Working knowledge of customers' business processes and relevant technology platforms/products.
  • Ability to prepare process maps, workflows, and business cases with application of industry standards and practices.
  • Creation of medium to complex business models.

Functional Design:

  • Working knowledge of high-level scope analysis, solution design processes, implementation and integration approaches, as well as cross-functional processes.
  • Able to understand and design processes, identify key business drivers, translate use cases into diagrams, update design specifications, and design modular, flexible solutions meeting business requirements.
  • Understand the overall solution's integrity, application behavior, and business rules, providing input for technical components, data design, and prototype creation.
  • Can coordinate process playbacks and prototype reviews with stakeholders and configure applications for realizing business solutions.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Working knowledge of requirement management processes and requirement analysis processes, tools & methodologies.
  • Able to analyze the impact of change requested/ enhancement/ defect fix and identify dependencies or interrelationships among requirements & transition requirements for engagement.

Test Management:

  • Able to perform unit testing & perform comparison testing for rehosting, report testing status and create iteration, system integration test plan and develop integration test cases as required.
  • Execute automation test scripts/manual test cases as per test plan, record findings and DIT Test Cases against the baseline code provided.
  •  Identify, report and document defects identified and perform defect fix/ deviations from expected results
  • Create test cases, test scenarios and test data and perform Development Integration Testing.
