The Main ask here from the customer is for an SQL DBA with Knowledge on SQL Development and good to have would be HANA DBA.

work independently or manage a SQL server environment from scratch & SQL development knowledge.

• Owns Microsoft SQL Servers/Services (Cloud and on-premises).
• Owns and/or support Azure SAP HANA Database activities.
• Manages end user data protection solutions.
• Assist with software deployment linked to Database services.
• Drive standardization and consolidation of infrastructure as a service component within all regions.
• Lead projects with international team members.
• Devise creative solutions to critical database infrastructure, database structure.
• Provide guidance and support to team members proactively anticipating and overcoming obstacles.
• Set high standards to achieve objectives.
• Provide business sponsors and Information Technology leadership with regular project performance status, variances to plan, and identification of corrective actions (if required)
• Function as an “internal consultant” around areas of Database Services, focusing specifically on IaaS initiates.
• Function as an “internal consultant” around areas of infrastructure expertise, focusing specifically on Database architecture and security. 
• Assist and train users.
• Create and coordinate documentation (around processes, support steps and training).
• Research and evaluate alternatives for the enhancement or re-engineering of IT architecture.

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

• Microsoft SQL Services highly preferred, including Stored Procedures and Transact-SQL language. Deep knowledge on how to optimize SQL queries.
• SAP HANA DB highly preferred.
• MySQL is a plus.
• Architecture Microsoft SQL Database knowledge highly preferred.
• Office 365 Experience is preferred (Teams, SharePoint online, OneDrive for Business).
• Strong background in Microsoft applications and delivery systems as well the databases and data transport layers required to connect them.
• Previous experience within a multinational company highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of IT security best practices in respect to cloud computing.
• Working knowledge of principles, best practices, architectures, tools and processes of cloud computing.
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) experience – Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Fulfilment, and Change/Configuration Management.
• Chemical Industry experience.
• Manufacturing operational exposure

Required Behavioral Competencies

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in related area (ex. Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Systems) or 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• Years of Related Experience (Min.): 7+ years infrastructure work experience required; with a global company preferred.
• Project Management Experience: coordinating cross-functional infrastructure projects.
• Language:  fluent English is essential.
• Demonstrated, progressive hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Services and SAP HANA DB services.
• Progressive experience with server and storage technologies, workstation imaging, software deployment, systems management and patch management.
• Extensive knowledge of MS Outlook, Skype for business, and other messaging tools and applications.
• Experience architecting and maintaining solutions across the spectrum of hosted, outsourced and cloud computing.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex authentication, authorization and integration problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented.
• Ability to explain complex technical information clearly to business stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to present solutions/alternatives and influence the outcome of decisions.
• Manage change effectively (Change Management).
• Self-starter with demonstrated initiative and hands-on aptitude.
