Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and document business applications using Oracle APEX. 
• Deploy and configure Oracle APEX and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) on Red Hat Linux servers. 
• Perform Linux system administration tasks, including installation, patching, memory management, and performance tuning. 
• Use and manage RHEL command-line tools effectively for system operations and troubleshooting. 
• Review and clarify business requirements, design technical solutions, and document ER diagrams and implementation details.
• Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure smooth testing and delivery.
• Maintain service levels in alignment with KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement of IT services.
• Support diverse IT systems and contribute to technology projects across development and support functions.
• Participate in process evaluation and enhancement of the service management framework. 
  

Mandatory Skills:

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX application development. 
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) including: 
• Installation and maintenance
• Memory and performance management
• Strong command-line (CLI) proficiency
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Linux shell scripting.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITIL practices. 
• Ability to independently manage development and support tasks.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes and application environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE) and Oracle APEX certifications are an advantage.
• Familiarity with Tomcat, WebLogic, or other application servers. 
• Experience with DevOps tools or automation frameworks.
• Exposure to international, multi-location work environments.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Candidates must be based in Bangalore or willing to relocate to Bangalore upon selection. 
• Service-oriented mindset with flexibility to take on various IT tasks as needed.
