Job Description

  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in SAP PP/ QM and well-versed in S/4HANA/ ECC with good analytical skills
  • Experience in Implementation and Support Projects.
  • In-depth knowledge in the following areas:
  • Master Data - Bill of materials, Work centers/ Resources, Routings/ Recipe, Production versions, Inspection Plan, Master inspection, Characteristics, Catalogues, and Code groups
  • Material Requirement Planning - Configuration and Integration with Procurement, Sales and Distribution, New strategy definition. Capacity planning, Forecast planning, reorder-based planning, consumption-based and MRP types knowledge
  • Batch Management knowledge
  • Production Order Execution - Order confirmation, Goods issue, Goods receipt, and Backflushing o Quality Management - Quality in Procurement, Quality in Production, In process inspection, Calibration, and Quality in Sales
  • integration between SAP PP and other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and QM (Quality Management)
  • Interface handling and design.
  • Hand-on experience in master data templates Badi and LSMW
  • Work experience in Form design and labels for PP-MM integrations
  • Quality management, inspection types of methods QM notifications
  • Vendor evaluation
  • Should have experience in writing Functional Specification, co-ordination with ABAP team, testing of new functionalities
  • Must have experience in SAP PP-QM integration with a third-party tool

Required Technical Competencies

Customer Management:

  • Has basic knowledge of customers' business domain and technology suite. 
  • Can use latest technology and handle customer escalations.

Projects Documentation:

  • Has a clear understanding of Documentation involved in projects like BBP & Solution Design, FS, Test Scripts, and Timesheets.
  • Able to build into required project documentation.

Domain and Industry Knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge of customer's business processes and relevant technology platform or product
  • Able to prepare process maps, workflows, business cases and simple business models in line with customer requirements with assistance from SME and apply industry standards/ practices in implementation with guidance from experienced team members.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Working knowledge of requirement management processes and requirement analysis processes, tools & methodologies.
  • Able to analyze the impact of change requested/ enhancement/ defect fix and identify dependencies or interrelationships among requirements & transition requirements for engagement.

Test Management:

  • Perform unit testing & comparison testing for rehosting and report testing status.
  • Execute automation test scripts/manual test cases as per test plan, record findings and DIT Test Cases against the baseline code provided.
  • Can identify, report and document defects identified and perform defect fix/ deviations from expected results.
  • Create test cases, test scenarios and test data.
