Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Highly capable SharePoint administrator to manage SharePoint environment. configuring SharePoint platform, adding document libraries, and developing shared storage space and backup procedures.
•Problem solving issues that arise in a day-to-day running of Client’s/users process and providing timely responses and solutions as required 
•Providing On-call support during critical issues. (Weekdays off business hours and weekends)
•Providing SharePoint support and end-user training.
•Adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.
•Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
•Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
•Reviewing usage and activity reports and ensuring optimized user-experiences.
•Excellent oral and written communications skills
•Providing high levels of client satisfaction on escalation tickets.
•Experience with production support and knowledge on change management, incident management. Experience with ServiceNow etc.
•Exposure in practicing ITIL standards for Infrastructure management.

BEHAVIORAL ATTRIBUTES
•Working with the Service Delivery Team and explaining the ongoing issues. Providing permanent fix. 
•Providing analytic tickets report with SLA and FCR. 
•Applies systematic approach to problem resolution and should be able to explain ideas clearly to others.

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

PRIMARY SKILLS
•Hands-on experience administering SharePoint Online (Primary Skill), MS Teams, OneDrive and O365 Services.
•Strong knowledge of SharePoint Governance and Administration
•Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions. 
•Good Experience in PowerShell scripting
•Handling escalation related to SharePoint online, MS Teams & OneDrive
•SharePoint, MS Teams, OneDrive and Large File Share Servers Migrations to online & exp on tools – like Sharegate, Metalogix, AvePoint etc.
•Knowledge of SharePoint on-prem, Exchange and Windows Server operating systems will be added advantage.
•Deep understanding of MS Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
•Hands-on experience in PowerApps and Power Automate
•Strong experience in windows troubleshooting
PREFERRED SKILLS
Certification – Minimum ITIL V3, Microsoft 365 Teams Administrator Associate (MS-700), SharePoint Related Certification/Training

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor's degree in computer science, 5 + years of IT experience
•Good to have SharePoint Online maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of all the issues on the SharePoint environment.
•Good to have SharePoint, MS Teams Administrator certification.
•Good Experience on OneDrive sync issues and OneDrive administration.
•Minimum ITIL V3 Foundation certification
•Applicants with Professional Degree with sound technology knowledge.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, initiative, and intellectual curiosity
•Able to work independently or as a collaborative team member
•Passion for technology and an eagerness to contribute to a team-orientated environment
•Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience
