Job Summary

We are seeking a Principal Specialist (SAP) for our Information Technology department. The Principal Specialist (SAP) will work with all businesses to enhance and improve the use and processes of the global SAP ERP system. This will involve working on projects for Mergers and Acquisitions, Digitization and other business driven projects.

 The following are duties and responsibilities related to the Principal Specialist role.

  • Mandatory experience : Involved in integration projects, good communication skills.
  • Good To have : Involved in projects where CPI is used as the middleware
  • Should be able to drive various stakeholders like Business users, technical teams etc and ensure timely delivery
  • Define and analyze business requirements from management for (Order-To-Cash) OTC functional area(s).
  • Develop and recommend process changes and identify SAP solutions to meet the business needs
  • Identify system configuration changes required and document via a configuration rationale document.
  • Manage the development of functional specifications.
  • Manage the development of test scripts for all testing phases.
  • Lead function-specific testing efforts to ensure that the configured solution works as designed to support the business and generate accurate financial information.
  • Identify any    process or business issues that may arise with the implementation of the software and develop plans to address those issues.
  • Lead process design activities with power users to improve operational excellence and lower cost of operations.
  • Collaborate with peers and general management to integrate process areas.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships / consultative support across global business users at all levels, influencing to achieve improved process performance, productivity gains, and value-added use of technology.
  • Gain commitment across business units for unified solutions / processes.
  • Ensure adherence to pertinent regulatory requirements and to departmental policies, practices and procedures.

 The following are minimum requirements related to the Principal Specialist (SAP) position:

  • Extensive experience within the SAP Sales and Distribution module.
  • Extensive SAP implementation experience across the Order to Cash tool suite.
  • Integration experience with non-SAP applications via leading middleware applications is a must have. Examples of middleware applications are Biztalk, SAP PO/PI or SAP CPI, Mulesoft.
  • Extensive integration experience with other SAP modules such as Project systems, Variant Configuration, Inventory Management, Warehouse management, Production Planning (PI), Finance, CO-PA, SD-Revenue Recognition or RAR is a must have.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and/or S/4 HANA is a must have.
  • Minimum 5 - 10 major SAP implementations is a must.
  • Must have ability to debug through ABAP code and Smart Forms for Root cause Analysis.
  • Must have ability to collaborate with SAP Development team to drive RICEFW developments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use business acumen to design and develop self-healing, scalable solutions to functional issues and be results driven.
