Job Description

Role : SAP Logistics Execution (LE) & Transportation Management (TM) Architect

Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Management or Equivalent.  S/4 HANA  SAP TM or SAP LE certification desirable 

Experience: Minimum 12 Years of experience, completed  4 end to end implementation of SAP LE & TM Module in a medium to large scale manufacturing facility. Strong knowledge of: 
Manufacturing supply chain logistics, Transportation planning & execution, Warehouse/logistics automation, Shipping & export compliance, Knowledge of Industry 4.0 logistics, IoT, RFID, barcode scanning systems.

Soft Skills - Strong business communication, Ability to manage stakeholder expectations. Ability to Manage Cross Cultural Team across Globe. Analytical thinking and problem solving. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and workshops.

Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing end to end logistics processes across the manufacturing supply chain. 
The role involves collaborating with cross functional stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of warehousing, distribution, transportation, and production logistics 
using SAP LE, SAP WM / EWM, and SAP TM modules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture & Design
Lead the end to end architecture of SAP LE & TM solutions for manufacturing supply chains.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, process flows, and system designs.
Define global design templates for LE/TM covering inbound, outbound, internal logistics, and transportation planning.
Ensure seamless integration with PP, MM, SD, EWM, QM, FI/CO and external carrier systems.
2. SAP Logistics Execution (LE) Responsibilities
Configure and optimize: 
Inbound/Outbound Processes (GR/GI, ASN processing)
Delivery processing, shipment creation, picking & packing
Transportation planning, route determination, shipment cost calculation
Handling units (HU) management
Support LE integration with: 
Warehouse Management (WM/EWM)
Sales & Distribution (SD)
Material Management (MM)
3. SAP Transportation Management (TM) Responsibilities
Design transportation planning and scheduling solutions—
Freight Order (FO), 
Freight Unit (FU) Creation, 
Carrier Selection, 
Tendering.
Configure: 
Transportation network & lanes
Carrier & Rate Management
Transportation Charge Management
Load consolidation and optimization
Enable integration with: 
S/4HANA
ERP logistics modules
External TMS/carrier portals
Telematics/GPS systems
4. Project Delivery
Lead or support SAP S/4HANA transformations, rollouts, upgrades, and greenfield/brownfield implementations.
Conduct workshops, design sessions, UAT, cutover planning, and end user training.
Prepare project documentation: BPML, FDDs, Configuration docs, Test scripts.
5. Operations & Continuous Improvement
Provide 2nd/3rd level support for SAP LE & TM processes.
Troubleshoot logistics and transportation issues affecting manufacturing operations.
Identify automation and process enhancement opportunities.

TM–Carrier systems & APIs
