Job Description

Key Responsibilities
1-2 years exp into Bigeye Tool exp
Data Quality Monitoring: Use Bigeye’s data observability platform to monitor and ensure data quality across pipelines.
Data Cataloging: Leverage Alation to understand data relationships and lineage.
Trust Flags & Tagging: Apply trust indicators and tags to data assets for transparency and traceability.
Data Profiling: Assess usability and integrity of datasets.
Rule Definition: Create and manage data quality rules and plans to validate data during ETL processes.
Modeling Leadership: Lead data modeling efforts, including logical and physical model creation and optimization.
Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts and Technical Architects to translate business needs into robust data models.

Required Skills:
Bigeye and Alation experience
ETL tools: Informatica, DataStage, Snaplogic
Strong understanding of data lineage, profiling, and cataloging
Experience with USAA internal systems (IGC, RRAIT, IAI, IA, UDC)
Proven leadership in mid-to-large scale data projects
