Summary and purpose of the role
This role will work directly with the Director of Enterprise Applications to provide thought leadership and design insight for our HR system, specifically SuccessFactors Employee Central and Recruitment & Onboarding. Your focus will be on integrating SuccessFactors modules, managing BAU activities, and supporting ongoing development aligned with business requirements. Additionally, you’ll contribute to internal capability building

Key activities and responsibilities:-
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for core HR modules (Core HR, Compensation, Performance, Time & Attendance, Onboarding, Recruiting, Analytics & Reporting) in alignment with organizational goals.
- Act as the primary liaison between HR COEs (Centres of Excellence) and IT, translating business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle using Agile/Scrum methodologies, from needs assessment and MVP definition to post-launch monitoring and continuous improvement.
2. Systems Optimization & Automation
- Lead initiatives to streamline HR processes, identifying opportunities to reduce manual tasks, increase productivity, and enhance data accuracy through automation and digital transformation.
- Oversee the configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise HCM applications (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors).
- Drive integration strategies between HR systems and other enterprise platforms to ensure seamless data flow.
3. Data Governance & Quality
- Champion the "Clean and Lean" data strategy, ensuring HR datasets are accurate, reliable, and optimized for high-speed processing.
- Partner with HR Operations and Analytics teams to establish data quality metrics and governance standards that enable informed, data-backed decision-making.
4. Organizational Change Management (OCM)
- Collaborate with OCM specialists to drive user adoption of new HR technologies and processes.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance stakeholder engagement and ensure smooth transitions during system upgrades or new feature rollouts.
5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external software vendors and implementation partners.
- Negotiate contracts, evaluate new features in vendor roadmaps, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Required Qualifications/ Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in SAP SuccessFactors (e.g., SuccessFactors Professional Certification).
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Required Skills & Competencies:
- HR Systems Expertise: Extensive knowledge of HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite [including migrations (e.g., legacy to cloud), integrations, and process redesign].
- Product Ownership: Proven experience managing a product backlog and delivering features in an Agile environment.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Strong understanding of data architecture and governance. Demonstrated ability to create "clean and lean" data systems that drive efficiency.
- Project Management: Familiarity with project management activities.
- Change Management: Familiarity with OCM principles and a track record of driving user adoption for new technologies.
Preferred Project Experience (Echoing Key Projects):
- Data & System Governance: Demonstrated experience in establishing governance frameworks and leading data quality initiatives. Proven ability to apply MVP (Minimum Viable Product) methodologies to cleanse legacy data, optimize system performance, and enhance processing speed for critical HR modules.
- Talent Management Expertise: Hands-on experience with the implementation and optimization of Talent Management Suites (including Performance, Goals, Succession, and Learning modules). Adept at configuring these tools to foster a culture of continuous feedback and align individual performance with organizational strategy.
- Integration Knowledge: Foundational understanding of HR system integrations (APIs, middleware) is a valuable asset. Ability to collaborate with technical architects to ensure seamless data flow between HR applications and broader enterprise ecosystems.
