Sr. Disaster Recovery Operations Analyst

Role Purpose
The Disaster Recovery Operations Analyst II is responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing disaster recovery capabilities that enable recovery of critical business services following outages, cyber incidents, infrastructure failures, or other disruptive events. The role collaborates across technology and business functions to strengthen organizational resilience and recovery readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, procedures, and documentation.
- Coordinate disaster recovery exercises, tabletop simulations, and recovery testing activities.
- Ensure disaster recovery test environments remain operational and available.
- Coordinate recovery activities during exercises and real-world incidents.
- Track recovery dependencies, risks, issues, and escalation activities.
- Partner with application owners, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to maintain recovery readiness.
- Analyze recovery gaps and recommend process, tooling, and architectural improvements.
- Validate Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs), Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs), and application criticality ratings.
- Produce dashboards, status reports, and compliance evidence.
- Support audit, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain application dependency mappings and recovery repositories.

- Experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Infrastructure Operations, Cybersecurity, or Technology Risk.
- Industry certifications such as:
- CBCP
- EDRP
- CISSP
- ITIL Foundation
