Job Description:

Job Description for Senior HANA DBA role:

• Overall 8+ Years of experience of relevant experience as a HANA DBA
• Provide operational support for SAP HANA databases.

• SAP HANA Database installations, uninstallations, patches, and upgrades
• SAP HANA Cockpit Installation, Patches, Upgrade, and configuration.
• Backup administration
• Database Restores and System Copies
• Expertise in HANA workload analysis and management
• Alerts Configuration in HANA for resource
• HANA Security & User Administration
• High Availability Disaster Recovery/Failover configuration and operations
• Activate and analyze expensive SQL trace.
• SQL Tuning and Performance Management
• Monitoring Delta Merge Operations
• Adding or removing additional hosts.
• Table partitioning and redistribution.
• Expertise in various HANA database tools like HANA studio and HANA Cockpit
• Landscape network administration
• Administration of the SAP HANA XS runtime environment
• Decision Making with the data and facts on database space.
• Troubleshooting of HANA database backup and restore.
• Database consistency checks.
• Examine runtime dumps, kernel profiler traces, and support data.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP etc..).
