Job Description:

 

Job Requirements: Sr. Storage Administrator

  • 7+ of experience in NAS storage administration, with a focus on NetApp storage 
    solutions.
  • Strong understanding of storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI) and storage 
    networking concepts (SAN, NAS).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Network Attached Storage (NAS) architecture and its 
    hardware/software products.
  • Proficient with NetApp NAS Storage (CDOT) platforms, including StorageGRID, 
    FabricPool, replication, and backup strategies (SnapVault, SnapMirror).
  • Exposure to NetApp cloud offering such as BlueXp, FSX Ontap & CVO
  • Familiarity with migration tools such as DataDobi, Robocopy, and securecopy.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions, such as TSM & Commvault.
  • Proficiency in scripting/automation using Ansible, with hands-on experience in opensource analytics and visualization tools like Grafana.
  • Experience with SAN storage arrays and switches is advantageous, particularly IBM 
    SVC, FSxxxx, and Brocade SAN directors.
  • Relevant certifications, such as NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) or 
    NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE), are a plus.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact 
    collaboratively across teams and departments.
