Job description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Technical Specifications for assigned development objects
• Develop ABAP programs to support approved development.
• Developed ABAP/4 Reports utilizing ABAP OOPS in various modules of SD, MM, FI – SAP - CRM, EWM, SPP.
• Technical component test documentation.
• Support development of estimates and recommendations for potential FRICE software development objects
• Write assigned technical specification for FRICE development objects
• Support error resolution during integration and user acceptance testing by the functional team
• Supporting testing of interfaces with legacy environment
• Follow CAT best practices and standards
• Develop Technical Design / code development and testing for the Function Specifications received
• Develop & perform unit test for screens, reports, forms, conversions, interfaces, and enhancements
• Ensure integration of technical development objects
• Support String Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing & Post Go-Live
• Ensure all documents mentioned in development checklist are maintained as required
• Actively participates in testing and delivery
• Works with other team leads to ensure integration across teams
• Responsible for timely completion of deliverables with high quality
• Ensure quality of deliverables eg. Design documents, unit test cases, string test documents and FRD sign-off
• Designer is responsible for quality, timelines, test data and issue resolution of FRDs assigned to his developers
• Monitor overall issue prioritization, progress tracking, and resolution process for developers assigned to them
• Report on deliverables status to program coordinator on daily basis
• Consult with the architects for any design suggestions or modifications
• Debug replicated error scenarios in lower environments and find solution gaps
• Support Incident resolution, problem resolution and small enhancements
• Willing to work in shifts – 2shifts X 5 days,  On call at night and weekends

Required qualification: 

• Bachelor’s in Engineering
• Candidate should have at least 6-7 years of experience in SAP ABAP
