Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade Java applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java, Servlets, JSP, Web Technologies, SQL databases, and modern software development practices. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based web applications.
• Develop and enhance applications using Core Java, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, and REST APIs.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Create reusable components and follow coding best practices.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Participate in application deployment, release planning, and maintenance activities.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in:
• Core Java (Java 8/11/17)
• Servlets, JSP, JDBC
• Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
• RESTful Web Services
• SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, or WebSphere.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of build and deployment tools such as Maven/Gradle.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Exposure to messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
