Sr. Software Engineer - Power Automate (Desktop & cloud) Job

Requirement: Exp: 3-5 Yrs

Existing Automation :

The current invoice processing solution is automated using Power Automate Desktop, Power Automate Cloud Flows, and an AI Document Processing Model.

Existing Process Flow

• Vendors send invoices through email.
• The bot monitors the mailbox and downloads invoice attachments.
• Invoices are received from 11 different vendors, each having different invoice formats/templates.
• An AI model extracts key invoice details such as:
  Vendor details, Invoice Number, Invoice Date, Purchase Order (PO) Number, Invoice Amount, Line Item Information
• Extracted data is stored in a SharePoint List for tracking.
• The bot reads the extracted data from SharePoint.
• Using UI automation, the bot logs into the AX Windows application.
• Invoice details are entered into AX and the invoice creation/posting process is completed.
• Processing status is updated for monitoring and reporting.

Business Requirement for D365

The business wants to eliminate the dependency on:

• AX Windows application
• Power Automate Desktop UI automation
• SharePoint-based intermediate processing and move to a D365 Invoice Capture based solution.

D365 Task :

• Vendor invoices are received through configured intake channels such as Email.
• D365 Invoice Capture automatically imports and processes incoming invoices.
• AI-powered extraction captures invoice header and line-item details.
• Extracted data is validated within D365 Invoice Capture.
• Purchase Order matching and business rule validations are performed directly in D365.
• Validated invoices are automatically created as Vendor Invoices in D365 Finance.
• Invoice approval, processing, and posting are managed within D365 without any UI automation.
• Users can track and monitor invoice status directly from D365 Finance.
