Job Title:        SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER – FULL STACK
Location:        Gurgaon or Bangalore, India
Reports To:        Engineering Manager – 3rd Party API Integrations

Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack you will join a highly skilled software team in delivering innovative  web applications that make up CNH Industrial’s next generation digital platform. The digital platform will enable products that integrate with connected CNH Industrial tractors, sprayers and combines and enable wide range of farm management capabilities. 

Primary responsibilities include working closely with product management, UX designers and backend developers on the design, development, testing and deployment of our next generation applications and existing product lines.  You will undertake all assigned tasks and responsibilities effectively and professionally in accordance with company, team and customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

1.    Design, develop, test and document quality software to user and functional requirements within specified timeframes and in accordance with CNH coding standards
2.    Generate all documentation relevant to software operation
3.    Adhere to prescribed development systems, processes procedures and ensure efficient, effective, high-quality delivery
4.    Contribute to the improvement of development systems, processes, and procedures
5.    Contribute to growing team members, building a strong cohesive team; provide guidance, mentorship
6.    Communicate effectively with all stakeholders 
7.    Perform tasks as specified by the Engineering Manager/Lead
8.    Other related duties as required
9.    Resolve blocked queries of team with other cross functional stakeholders. Be a Feature Champion & hands-on development.
10.    Penetration Testing, receiving report and drive vulnerability fixing
11.    Accountable for Delivery & timeline.
 
Qualifications:

Education Qualifications and/or Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited university
    5+ years of relevant industry experience
    5+ years of Web front-end application development and testing experience
    Strong experience in development, design of User Interfaces using different Front end technologies and approaches – Browser Apps, SPA, PWA
    Good understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform, Server side rendering, Micro Frontends
    Experience with RESTful API development, Open API specification
    Experience with Microservices Development; working on Docker, Kubernetes
    Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud services
    Experience analyzing and tuning application performance

Computer Skills:
    Expert of Angular, React & C#. Strong hands-on experience and should have delivered at least 2 large-scale projects on these tech stack.
    Frameworks (React with Hooks / Angular 9 upwards), JSX, Redux (State manager), React Router (navigation)
    jQuery/AJAX
    ASP.NET Core, C#, HTML5, CSS(Sass), NET 2.0 Web Services, OAuth 2.0 (JWT)
    Relational DB (SQL Server / Postgres) ; NoSQL DB (CosmosDB / MongoDB )
    Good working knowledge of CI/CD environments (preferably Git Lab), Git or similar configuration management software
    Knowledge of Testing Tools such as Selenium, NUnit, xUnit

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Working knowledge of requirement management processes and requirement analysis processes, tools & methodologies.
• Able to analyze the impact of change requested/ enhancement/ defect fix and identify dependencies or interrelationships among requirements & transition requirements for engagement.

Application Design:

• Basic knowledge of design principles and performance engineering concepts.
• Can create UI / Design and business logic elements and constraints, navigation, screen flow and layout.
• Create traceability matrix based on requirements.

Architecture tools and frameworks:

• Understanding of standard architectural principles, models, patterns, and integration points.
• Knowledge of non-functional areas like automation, performance, manageability, and portability.
• Ability to create process maps and architect systems based on functional and non-functional requirements.

Estimation and Resource Planning:

• Basic knowledge of estimation and resource planning techniques (WBS, FP, etc.).
• Able to identify required resources and utilize suitable estimation models for low-medium complete scenarios based on project scope.

Product/ Technology Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of technology product/platform standards and specifications.
• Able to implement code or configure/customize products and provide inputs in design and architecture adhering to industry standards/ practices in implementation.
• Analyze various frameworks/tools, review the code and provide feedback on improvement opportunities.

Test Management:

• Working knowledge of testing concepts, testing standards and best practices.
• Ability to create/review test cases, conduct unit testing, define metrics, and support testing processes.
• Perform integration testing, create integration test plans, execute automation test scripts/manual test cases, and perform regression tests.
• Document defects identified and perform defect fix.

Customer Management:

• Has working knowledge of customer's business domain and technology suite.
• Use latest technology, proactively suggest solutions to increase business, and understand customer's business.

Project Management:

• Demonstrates basic knowledge of project management processes, tools, and templates.
• Execute small/non-complex projects, provide inputs to supervisor for project management, create and maintain a quality dashboard, and support project management reporting for assigned work areas.

Domain/ Industry Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of customers' business processes and relevant technology platforms/products.
• Ability to prepare process maps, workflows, and business cases with application of industry standards and practices.
• Creation of medium to complex business models.
