Job Description:

SAP WM/LE has primary accountability for the delivery of Warehouse Management system/EWM services including project delivery, system configuration and enhancement, and production support in alignment with company policies and procedures. This role will also steer the design and implementation of the Transportation Management (TM) module in SAP. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading the design and implementation of an SAP WM/EWM and LE solution-delivery of project deliverables including blueprints, functional and technical specifications, system configuration, testing, training and go-live support. 
  • Should have experience in SAP EWM module Skills and at least one end-to-end SAP EWM Implementation Experience.
  • Experience in SAP EWM configuration/Solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment.
  • Key areas of expertise – Inbound, outbound, replenishment, physical inventory, and handling unit management.
  • Sound knowledge of EWM-PP, EWM-QM, and EWM-SD process integration. Nice to have MES system integration knowledge.
  • Partnering with key Business and IT stakeholders to outlay the global design of Extended Warehouse Management and delivery of the design globally.
  • Utilize specialized expertise in the area to collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Sites to define detailed User Stories for D&T enablement of business needs. This includes interpreting any issues and recommending solutions or best practices. 
  • Provide system support and maintenance in alignment with standards and processes set within the ERP Services Delivery model, West policies and procedures as well as Regulatory requirements including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA GMP.     
  • Create and maintain system lifecycle documents in accordance with policies and procedures, including the creation and maintenance of SOPs, SOIs, and Job Aids. 
  • Work within and participate in the Change Control process. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs. 

 

Education and Experience:

  • 5-8 years of related work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent experience. 
  • Preferred but not required: Agile & Scrum Certification, ITIL, S/4 HANA . 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent SAP skills – system functionality and technical understanding 
  • Must be up to date on the latest ERP release, including detailed knowledge of EWM and TM.
  • HANA knowledge preferred 
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. 
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency. 
  • Proficient English language skills  
  • Willingness to global travel 
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards the delivery of the set target.
  •   Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times.
  •  Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.

  • Non-US only where required for certain levels

 

Physical and Travel Requirements

  • 25% travel, including global travel
  • Occasional on-call work required
  • Position in India: Prefer 12pm – 9pm India time. Willingness to work outside of these hours as needed.
