Job Description

Technical Skills:
•    Develop, customize, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) solutions.
•    Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
•    Perform coding, debugging, testing, and performance tuning of customizations and extensions using X++ programming language.
•    Integrate Dynamics 365 F&O with other systems and external applications using appropriate integration tools and technologies.
•    Implement security measures and role-based access controls to ensure data privacy and compliance.
•    Participate in system upgrades, deployments, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
•    Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects related to Dynamics 365 F&O solutions.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
•    Maintain documentation of system configurations, customizations, and development activities.

Qualifications:
•    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations implementation with Enterprise clients 
•    Proficiency in X++ programming language and related development tools, such as Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
•    Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 F&O data structures, security models, and integration mechanisms.
•    Involved and responsible for the overall design of the application and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements.
•    Experience in following best practices of programming, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices
•    Self-motivator and self-starter, ability to take ownership and drive initiatives with minimal supervision and works collaboratively with the teams
•    Have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact with team and stakeholders.

Required Technical Competencies

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Extract requirements for complex scenarios and prototype independently.
  • Identify modules impacted, features/functionalities impacted, and arrive at high-level estimates. 
  • Develop a traceability matrix and identify transition requirements.

Application Design:

  • Knowledge of design principles and performance engineering concepts
  • Ability to create UI/Design and business logic elements, navigation, screen flow, and layout based on applicable criteria and constraints.
  • Ability to identify and apply design standards following the applicable criteria and constraints.

Architecture tools and frameworks: 

  • Familiarity with industry tools and frameworks and ability to analyze and use them based on customer requirements.
  • Work with SMEs to explore new tools and frameworks for implementation.

Estimation and Resource Planning:

  • Identify and assign the resources required to complete the task.
  • Use appropriate estimation models based on the project scope for medium-high complexity scenarios.
  • Track and report gaps between budgeted and actual spending.

Technology/Product Knowledge:

  • Implement code or configure/customize products, drive adoption of industry standards and practices, and contribute to the development of reusable assets and innovative solutions.
  • Analyze various frameworks/tools and present recommendations, contribute to the development of training and certification material, and demonstrate thought leadership through whitepapers and webinars.

Test Management:

  • Create iteration, system integration test plan, and develop integration test cases as required
  • Ability to create/review test cases, conduct unit testing, define metrics, and support testing processes.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis, verify system builds and test environments, and create business scenario test cases/automation test scripts.

Customer Management:

  • Use the latest technology, communicate effectively, demonstrate leadership, present technical offerings, and proactively suggest solutions.

Project Management:

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of project management processes, tools, and templates, such as risk management, project tracking tools, project management methodologies, scope management, test management, and quality assurance. 
  • Execute medium projects effectively, create and review milestone/metric reports, project status, and closure reports, create continuous quality improvement plans, and provide inputs for organization-wide process assets.  
  • Create master project plan, work breakdown plan, resource plan, training plan for associates based on project need, etc.

Domain/ Industry Knowledge:

  • Application of  industry standards and practices and creation of complex business models  in line with customer requirements independently
  • Analysis of current-state and define to-be processes in collaboration with SMEs and present recommendations with tangible benefits
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, ROI analysis through innovation
