Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Leadership:
•Lead pre-sales solutioning across all core infrastructure domains for large pursuits and RFPs.
•Serve as the solution authority for infrastructure proposals, estimates, presentations, and orals.
•Collaborate with sales, bid teams, delivery, and partner ecosystem to create differentiated offerings.
•Build a reusable repository of solution components, templates, and pricing models.
Competency Development:
•Define capability roadmap and develop talent across all sub-domains (network, storage, OS, DB, etc.).
•Establish solution accelerators, reference architectures, and best practices.
•Lead enablement programs to upskill architects and SMEs on modern and hybrid infrastructure.
Technology Domains Covered:
•Enterprise Network: SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, cloud networking, and network security.
•Datacenter & HCI: Consolidation, migration, hybrid/cloud DC strategy, Nutanix, VMware, Cisco UCS.
•OS Platforms: Windows and Linux standardization, lifecycle, and hardening.
•Storage & Backup: SAN/NAS, object storage, backup & recovery strategies.
•Database Platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.
•M&A Solutions: IT discovery, integration planning, Day 0/Day 1 strategy, and infrastructure separation.
M&A Infrastructure Advisory:
•Lead technical due diligence for M&A engagements from an infrastructure standpoint.
•Work with clients and internal teams to architect scalable and rapid onboarding/separation solutions.
•Create integration playbooks, infra blueprints, and timeline-based execution models.
Client & Partner Engagement:
•Present solutions and thought leadership to client executives (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Infra).
•Work closely with OEMs and hyperscalers to co-develop GTM offerings and proposals.
•Participate in executive briefings, solution workshops, and architecture reviews.
Innovation & Differentiation:
•Continuously scan the market for new trends like Edge, AI-ready infra, SDDC, and platform engineering.
•Integrate automation, observability, and zero-trust frameworks into solution designs.
•Champion infrastructure modernization through hybrid, cloud-native, and software-defined approaches.

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

Role Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong leader to head our Core Infrastructure Pre-Sales Practice & Competency. This leader will be responsible for shaping the go-to-market strategy, building solution competencies, and driving large-scale deal support across Enterprise Networking, Datacenter, Storage, Windows, Linux, Database Platforms, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), and Merger & Acquisition (M&A) initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep infrastructure expertise, strong client-facing skills, and experience in crafting winning solutions.
Required Qualifications:
•18+ years in core infrastructure, with 10 + years in a pre-sales leadership or solutions architect role.
•Hands-on expertise in multiple domains: networking, datacenter, HCI, OS, databases.
•Proven experience in leading infrastructure solutions for large transformation or M&A deals.
•Strong commercial acumen: TCO modeling, proposal writing, contracting basics, pricing inputs.
•Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders.

•Certifications: TOGAF, ITIL, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat, Nutanix, Oracle, etc.
•Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure and hybrid architecture.
•Experience working in a global IT Services or Consulting firm.
