Job Summary:

As a Data Migration Consultant ( Syniti,) you will play a critical role in helping our clients successfully migrate and transform their data between various systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance.

You will work closely with clients to understand their data migration requirements, design effective migration strategies, and execute data migration projects within defined timelines. Your expertise in data management, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data quality will be essential in delivering high-quality data migration solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • At least 8 years of experience in Syniti tool
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data migration needs, including data structures, formats, and business rules.
  • Design and develop data migration strategies, considering factors such as data volume, complexity, and system dependencies.
  • Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, data transformations, and mapping requirements.
  • Develop data migration plans, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Implement data migration solutions using industry-leading tools and technologies, ensuring data integrity and adherence to defined standards.
  • Conduct data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure accurate and complete data migration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues, working closely with clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with project managers, data architects, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on data migration best practices and data management principles.
  • Document data migration processes, methodologies, and technical specifications for future reference.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data migration projects, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of data management concepts, data integration, and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in data profiling, data analysis, and data quality assessment.
  • Experience with data migration tools and technologies, such as SAP Data Services, Informatica, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL query language.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and data mapping techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within project timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in data management, data integration, or related areas.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and practices.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific data standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience in performing data quality assessments and implementing data cleansing strategies.
