Job Description

Candidate must have strong experience on Sybase SQL Anywhere 17/Sybase ASE Database Administration (Preferably SQL Anywhere Experience)
Should have experience on Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration, SQL server DB migration and upgrades.
Should have hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL server Management Studio
Should have experience on Sybase Replication.
Should have experience on below Database Administration Activities --
- Installation and configuration of Sybase Servers
- Backup and Recovery,
- Analysis and Troubleshooting skills
- Performance Tuning
Should have experience on Database Migrations/Upgrades
Strong knowledge on Transact SQL and should be able to write and understand queries
Should have experience in creating/writing SQLs, stored procedures, triggers using T-SQL.
Should be able review queries/SQL scripts developed by developers and provide appropriate suggestions and approvals for the code
should have experience on using GitHub, Version control system
Performance Tunning skills - Should be able to optimize Database queries and stored procedures to improve the performance.
Work closely with application teams to analyze and Troubleshoot issues related to Database
Must have knowledge on Windows batch and PowerShell scripting.

Responsibilities : Involve in DBA activities, deliver assigned tasks on time. Need to work in US business hours
