Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled OpenText Upgrade Consultant to lead and execute technical platform migrations, upgrades, and system enhancements. The ideal candidate possesses deep hands-on experience in upgrading OpenText Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions—specifically Content Server, Extended ECM (xECM), Archive Center, and OTDS.

Key Responsibilities 

Upgrade Execution: Plan, design, and execute end-to-end OpenText upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring zero-downtime strategies and rollback plans.

System Assessment: Evaluate existing repository setups, architecture, and database environments before executing upgrades.

SAP & Enterprise Integration: Validate and optimize OpenText-SAP integrations, including ArchiveLink, DocuLink, xECM, and VIM.

Testing & Stabilization: Conduct post-upgrade testing, troubleshoot connectivity and certificate issues, and manage hypercare periods.

Custom Code Remediation: Migrate, test, and adapt customized workflows, WebReports, OScript, and forms to ensure compatibility with new OpenText 
versions.

Documentation: Deliver comprehensive technical documentation, architecture updates, and system handovers.

Required Qualifications & Technical SkillsCore OpenText: 

Extensive experience in Content Suite Platform, Content Server, Extended ECM (xECM), Archive Center, and OpenText Directory Services (OTDS).

Databases & Servers: Strong working knowledge of Relational DBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and Application/Web servers (Apache, Tomcat, IIS).

Integration: Familiarity with APIs, RESTful web services, and CMIS.

OScript & Development: Hands-on experience with Webreports, Workflows, forms, and OScript customization.
