Key Responsibilities

Core SAP CO Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP CO sub‑modules:
  • Cost Element Accounting (CO‑OM‑CEA)
  • Cost Center Accounting (CO‑OM‑CCA)
  • Internal Orders (CO‑OM‑OPA)
  • Profit Center Accounting (EC‑PCA)
  • Product Costing (CO‑PC)
  • Profitability Analysis (CO‑PA – both Costing‑based & Account‑based)
• Perform month‑end and year‑end closing activities:
  • Overhead calculations
  • Cost allocations
  • Settlements
  • Variance analysis
• Ensure seamless integration with SAP FI, MM, SD, PP, and PS
• Design and maintain cost allocation cycles, assessments, and distributions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning processes
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP CO solutions
• Prepare functional specifications for technical developments
• Support UAT, go‑live activities, and post‑implementation support
