Job Description – MS Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Consultant (5+ Years Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Technical Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in development, integrations, and technical solution design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying robust integrations between D365 F&O and external systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Integration Development

- Design and develop integrations between D365 F&O and external platforms using OData, Custom Services, DMF, batch jobs, and X++.

- Build staging tables, entities, and mapping logic for Customer Master, Bank Master, Vendor/Customer Bank Accounts, Legal Entities, Tax Codes, and Financial Dimensions.

- Develop transaction integrations for Sales Orders, Invoices, Receipts, Allocations, Refunds, and PDC processes.

2. Technical Design & Customization

- Develop high‑quality X++ code for classes, tables, forms, and extensions.

- Customize Sales Order, Ledger, Journal, and Revenue Recognition frameworks.

- Implement posting logic for deposits, settlements, renewals, final settlement invoices, and refunds.

3. Data Management & Validation

- Create/manage DMF entities for all master and transactional data.

- Implement validations for VAT, IBAN/SWIFT, dimensions, duplicate checks, etc.

4. Collaboration

- Work with functional consultants and external vendors to finalize mapping rules, schema designs, integration triggers.

- Participate in requirement workshops, SIT/UAT cycles, and production deployment.

5. Documentation & Testing

- Prepare TDDs, integration specifications, deployment instructions.

- Conduct unit & end‑to‑end testing.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in D365 F&O/AX technical development.

- Strong skills in X++, OData/REST APIs, DMF, JSON/XML integrations, batch framework.

- Good understanding of AR/AP, PDC, Customer Payments, VAT, Tax Groups, Revenue Recognition.

- Strong communication & documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Power Platform.
