Market Research Analyst – Strategic Insights

We are seeking a research professional to spearhead comprehensive research initiatives on emerging technology trends, evolving market dynamics, and competitive landscapes. The insights generated by this role will be instrumental in guiding our clients in their strategic direction and prioritize initiatives. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can translate complex, unorganized data into actionable business strategies, driving innovation and adding competitive advantage. The ideal candidate will also do comprehensive research on emerging financial services trends, regulatory changes, evolving market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Perform in-depth analyses of emerging technologies and their potential impact across industries, including analyses and impact of disruptions, market trends, competitor strategies, regulatory developments, and innovation opportunities
• Craft detailed and insightful reports, be thought leader in your domain and work on presentations that articulate an independent point of view on a variety of topics.
• Continuously monitor and analyse the latest technological developments, ensuring a robust and up-to-date knowledge base.
• Suggest alternatives and creative solutions to address clients and stakeholders current and anticipatory needs.
• Analyze and interpret economic data, macroeconomic trends, and policies to inform stakeholders.
• Perform in-depth analyses of regulatory changes, market shifts, and technological advancements (e.g., digital banking, blockchain, payments innovation) and assess their potential implications across the industry.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in macroeconomic, monetary, and fiscal policies of key countries.
• Manage project results by following the best project and time management practices while always adhering to quality guidelines.
• Support the development of economic insights and models for macroeconomic outlook reports.
• Use charts, graphs, and other visualization techniques to simplify and communicate complex unstructured data effectively.

Qualifications

• MBA or master's degree in related fields from a reputed business school with 0 - 1 year of experience
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies and digital transformation trends.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; outstanding analytical, research and presentation skills. Knowledge of emerging technology trends and their business implications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Solid research skills and familiarity with various research tools (Gartner, IDC, Forrester Research, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present complex ideas succinctly using MS Office Tools.
• Ability to present strategic insights and recommendations clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.
• Good data visualization skills and ability to present data analysis in intuitive graphical and tabular formats.
• Hands-on experience working on Generative AI tools. Exposure to prompt engineering is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of macroeconomic concepts such as inflation, trade, tariffs, balance of payments, with a willingness to learn and deepen knowledge.
• Awareness of current macroeconomic trends and their relevance to business and professional services, with the ability to conduct research and summarize findings.
