Job Description

• Key thought leader, contributor and proactive collaborator to define and align the technical and architectural vision for the program solution with other solution and system architects.
• Partner with clients to develop an understanding of a client’s current state process and developing future state recommendations based on Oracle’s best business practices.
• Responsible for developing the functional architectural vision of Oracle Cloud Financials solution.
• Apply functional knowledge and expertise, working in collaboration with technical consulting team, in the implementation of business-aligned and driven Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Align client’s existing business process and procedures with validated ERP Cloud methods to solve client needs.
• Lead clients in workshops to formulate functional business requirements and align them to Oracle Cloud functionality and overall solution delivery.
• Integration of Cloud Financials applications with existing processes.
• Optimization of Cloud Financials applications.
• Lead clients in workshops to formulate functional business requirements and align them to Oracle Cloud functionality and overall solution delivery.
• Identify requirement and design gaps and develop solutions to align with overall solution delivery.
• Configure the Oracle Cloud environment to meet client requirements and design and document application set-up.
• Advise clients on options, risks and any impacts on other processes and/or systems.
• Participate in determining the system, subsystems, and interfaces, validate technology assumptions and evaluate alternatives.
• Align with Oracle product short/long term roadmap and features with Oracle’s new release cycles, business enhancements and production break-fix solutions.
• Identifies any enabler capabilities and features and remove architectural gaps and impediments.
• Promotes adaptive design and engineering practices, facilitates the reuse of ideas, components, services, and proven patterns across product teams.
• Attends and provides inputs for high level estimates and identify dependencies, work with sales to provide necessary documentation and artifacts.

Required Technical Competencies

Required Skills: 

• 12+ years Oracle ERP Financials related experience developing and architecting all aspects of ERP solutions using the Cloud Financials suite of products with 3+ years of Oracle Cloud Financials experience.
• Involvement with a minimum of five (5) full life cycle Oracle Financials implementations, of which at least three (3) should be Oracle Cloud Financials.
• Extensively worked on various business flows such as Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P) cycle and Fixed Asset to GL, Sub Ledger Accounting, EB Tax / Cloud Tax, Financial Reporting Studio, SmartView
• Ability to configure all Cloud ERP Financials applications, including General Ledger, Payables, Expenses, Assets & Receivables.
• The ideal candidate will have senior cross-functional architect level experience and extensive domain knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Costing) and good understanding of supporting ERP SCM Cloud modules (Procurement, Inventory Management, Master Data).
• Thorough understanding of Job/Function/Data securities/Areas of Responsibility.
• Solid understanding of PaaS to SaaS integration framework.
• Proven record of working with Senior Business Leaders in developing technology roadmaps and strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
• Demonstrate successful working relationships with all levels of IT and Business Partners.
• Good project management skills, planning and organization skills desired.
• Review and provide coaching and feedback on design, configuration, and documentation.
• Lead and support clients with the execution of test scripts.
• Self-motivated and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning to stay current on trends.
• Oracle Cloud Certification.
• Willing to travel as necessary.
