Job Description – SAP ABAP API Analyst

Experience 6 Years

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP API Analyst responsible for designing, developing, and integrating APIs within SAP systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP development along with experience in modern integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and conversions
• Build and integrate SAP APIs (REST/OData/ SOAP services)
• Work on SAP Gateway, OData services, and API management
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions
• Perform performance tuning and debugging of ABAP programs
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP and external systems
• Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Core ABAP (Reports, BADI, Enhancements, Forms, IDocs, ALV)
• Hands-on experience in SAP APIs, OData, RESTful services
• Knowledge of SAP Gateway and API integrations
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment is preferred
• Good understanding of data migration and interfaces
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP BTP / CPI Integration
• Exposure to Fiori/UI5 applications is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
