📝 Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Maintenance Project Manager on a Time & Materials (T&M) basis to oversee preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance activities. The consultant will manage end‑to‑end plant reliability programs, maintenance planning, vendor coordination, safety compliance, and timely execution of maintenance projects.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

Plant Maintenance Management

  • Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Ensure equipment availability, reliability, and minimal downtime.
  • Manage maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, breakdown frequency, etc.).

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop maintenance project plans, timelines, and resource strategies.
  • Lead shutdown/turnaround planning and execution.
  • Track costs and effort in a T&M model with time logs and work reports.

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with production, engineering, safety, and procurement teams.
  • Manage external vendors, contractors, and service partners.
  • Ensure compliance with SLA, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Asset Management & Documentation

  • Maintain asset registers, equipment history, drawings, manuals.
  • Review and update SOPs, maintenance checklists, and inspection logs.
  • Ensure accurate reporting for T&M billing and project audits.

Safety, Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure adherence to ISO, OSHA, and plant safety guidelines.
  • Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses (JSA), and incident investigations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis (RCA).

 

📌 Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–12+ years of experience in plant maintenance, engineering, or industrial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance processes.
  • Experience in T&M engagement models and contractor management.
  • Proficiency with CMMS / SAP PM / Maximo / Infor EAM (as applicable).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Preferred qualifications: Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, PMP, CMRP.
