Software Engineer - Fortran Job

Key Responsibilities

• Code Optimization: Improve execution speed and memory efficiency for massive data sets and complex calculations.

• Legacy Maintenance: Debug, refactor, and upgrade older codebase structures to work on modern hardware and compilers.

• Algorithm Implementation: Translate advanced mathematical formulas and physical equations into reliable code.

• System Integration: Interface Fortran libraries with modern languages like C++.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern Fortran (90/95/2003/2008) or legacy standards, plus tools like GNU Fortran or Intel Fortran compilers and Git.

• Domain Knowledge: Strong background in numerical analysis, physics, or engineering principles.

• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.

Candidate should be very good on Soft skills.
