We are looking for Sr.consultant with 8-10 years of experience in SAP PP PI

We are seeking an experienced SAP Manufacturing Senior Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), Process Industries (PP-PI), and Repetitive Manufacturing (REM). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects, with a strong focus on manufacturing processes across both discrete and process industries.

The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP manufacturing solutions, including Production Planning, Shop Floor Execution, Process Manufacturing, XSteps, Process Management, Control Recipes, PI Sheets, ODA Integration, and SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing. This role requires strong business process knowledge and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across diverse industries, including Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Consumer Products, and Food & Beverage.

Key Responsibilities

SAP PP-PI (Process Manufacturing)

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP PP-PI solutions.
• Configure, implement, and support SAP PP-PI business processes.
• Design and maintain:
• Master Recipes
• Resources
• Production Versions
• Process Orders
• Configure and manage Process Management components, including:
• Process Instructions
• XSteps
• PI Sheets
• Process Messages
• Control Recipes
• Implement and support Control Recipe destinations and process execution solutions.
• Design and support ODA integrations with external manufacturing systems.
• Support batch-managed manufacturing processes, genealogy, and traceability requirements.
• Configure process order execution, confirmations, goods movements, and inventory transactions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize manufacturing operations and process efficiency.
• Prepare functional specifications and support technical developments, enhancements, and integrations.
• Execute SIT, UAT, end-user training, cutover activities, and post-go-live support.
• Support SAP S/4HANA PP-PI implementations, upgrades, and transformation projects.

Production Planning & Manufacturing

• Configure and support manufacturing master data and execution processes, including:
• Material Master
• Bills of Material (BOM)
• Work Centers/Resources
• Production Versions
• Master Recipes
• Process Instructions
• Process Orders
• Process Messages
• Production Scheduling
• Capacity Planning
• Batch Management
• Process Costing
• Configure and optimize MRP settings and planning strategies.
• Drive improvements in production planning, scheduling, and shop floor execution processes.
• Support manufacturing process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

PP-PI Process Management

• Configure and support:
• PI Sheets

• Process Control Systems (PCS) Integration
• Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Integration
• Shop Floor Data Collection

XSteps Configuration & Development

• Design, configure, and maintain:
• Standard XSteps
• Master Recipe XSteps
• Process Order XSteps
• Configure:
• XStep Parameters
• XStep Formulas
• Activities
• Process Instructions
• Process Data Requests
• Develop and enhance XStep-based process management solutions.
• Integrate XSteps with MES and third-party manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to XStep execution and process management.

Control Recipe Configuration

• Configure and support:
• Control Recipe Destinations
• Control Recipe Generation
• Process Instruction Categories
• Process Message Categories
• PI Sheet Integration
• Provide expertise in process execution and control system integration scenarios.

ODA  Integration

Demonstrated experience in:

• ODA framework configuration and support.
• SAP PP-PI integration with external system.
• Production data collection and manufacturing execution integrations.
• Real-time communication between SAP and shop floor systems.

SAP PP (Discrete Manufacturing)

• Configure and support end-to-end SAP PP processes.
• Manage master data and manufacturing execution activities.
• Configure production planning, scheduling, and execution processes.
• Design and optimize MRP and planning strategies.
• Support production order management and shop floor operations.

SAP REM (Repetitive Manufacturing)

• Configure and support SAP Repetitive Manufacturing processes, including:
• Repetitive Manufacturing Execution
• Backflush Processing
• Reporting Points
• Line-Based Manufacturing
• Product Cost Collectors
• Optimize high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Support planning, execution, and costing processes in repetitive manufacturing scenarios.
