Job Description
Experience in OTC SD • 8-12+ years of experience preferred with S/4 HANA implementation project. Experience in incident lifecycle management and customer interaction and problem management • Provide support to analyze & fix issues • Responsible for functional testing (Unit, Integration and UAT) in systems• Coordinate with internal team, process teams and business users, Excellent Communication and ability to work as team, as role will require to have extensive meeting with all stakeholders and will be a single point of contact • Strong functional and configuration knowledge in SAP SD module along with pricing functions, output, Idoc • Experienced in all SD aspects, including defining & assigning Enterprise Structure, Master data, Pre-Sales, Sales Order processing preferred • Sales Documents: Sales Document Header, Sales Document Item, Sales Documents, Schedule Line, Contracts, and Scheduling Agreements preferred • Pricing: Condition table, Condition type, Access sequence, Pricing procedure, and Condition record preferred, Output types, incompletion log, item category determination. • Order Management: Creation of Sales documents - Inquiry, Quotation, Sales order (standard order, rush order, cash sales, service order, returns), Deliveries (outbound & inbound), Billing, Invoicing, preferred • Understanding of availability check functionality in SAP SD to verify product availability and manage backorders. Ability to configure and customize availability check settings. • Ability to configure billing processes, including billing document types, billing plans, account determination, and invoice list creation. Understanding of revenue recognition and integration with financial accounting • Credit memo, Debit memo; Configuration and implementation of SAP LE process, covering the complete range of functionalities like master data, pricing records, output records. • Proficiency in managing delivery processes, including delivery creation, picking, shipping, and goods issue. Knowledge of delivery document types, route determination, transportation planning, and tracking with 3PL integration EDI 940 , 945. • Interfaces: Should have hands on in interface in different system like SAP to SAP and SAP to Non-SAP preferred • IDOC: Should have good work experience in handling IDOC issues preferred, 3PL integration • Experience in independently working in managing and troubleshoot complex interfaces EDI IDOC 850, 860 • Understanding of the integration points between SAP SD and other modules like SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP FI (Financial Accounting), SAP CO (Controlling), and SAP PP (Production Planning). Knowledge of how data flows across these modules. • Participate in Proof of Concepts and develop re-usable solutions and components to get the Practice ready for future projects and prospective customers. • Build and Maintain Templates and Knowledge Database, training materials that supports project, business and organizational needs and ensure readiness of resources in the assigned area(s) of responsibility. Functional Design:
- Specialized knowledge of solution design, scope analysis, and building blocks for business cases.
- Identifying key business drivers and translating them into solution components
- Creating diagrams from use cases and updating design specifications
- Understanding functional specifications and designing flexible solutions
- Collaborating with stakeholders to explain the solution approach
- Offering solution options based on research and coordinating process playbacks and reviews for business solutions.
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
- Specialized knowledge of requirement management processes and requirement analysis processes, tools & methodologies.
- Extract requirements for complex scenarios and prototype independently.
- Identify modules impacted, features/functionalities impacted and arrive at high level estimates.
- Develop traceability matrix and identify transition requirements.
Test Management:
- Able to create iteration, system integration test plan and develop integration test cases as required and verify system build, test environment and iteration test plan.
- Create business scenario test cases and automation test scripts based on understanding of functionality requirements.
- Conduct regression tests as required and impact analysis when a defect fix is made.
