Job Description

  • 6+ Years of experience in SAP Security Role
  • Responsible for the overall design and approach to SAP security across all of our client's SAP systems, including development, BAU, handover and support (full life cycle of project).
  • Should have direct experience of GRC, IDM, S4 HANA, Fiori, SOX or JSOX, MDG,
  • Has participated in at least one large information transformation engagements within SAP Security
  • Extensive experience of SAP GRC v 10.01 Access Control and Process Control with hands on experience of Segregation of Duties including SAP GRC rule set
  • Working and business knowledge of SAP IdM v 8; user management, integration and workflow, preferably with SQL and Java experience.
  • Own the Authorizations/GRC design and strategy (system connectivity for GRC, Access Control, Process Control, reporting, naming conventions etc.)
  • SAP roles and authorizations experience; including at least two full SAP project life cycles implementing an SAP authorization concept.
  • Excellent client facing skills.
  • Own the SAP Security Authorizations/GRC design and strategy (system connectivity for GRC, Access Control, Process Control, reporting, naming conventions etc.)
  • Excellent hands-on working knowledge of SAP roles and authorizations in both end user and project environment and in the following SAP modules: BW, Solution Manager, ERP, S/4HANA, MDG, GRC, IdM and Fiori.
  • Able to work with functional consultants to refine roles and authorizations to the granular level of authorization object.
  • Working knowledge of segregation of duties within an SAP environment and able to design and build SAP roles accordingly.
  • Experience with how roles and authorizations work with Fiori. Experience of creating security concept in a SAP Fiori environment; knowledge Fiori catalogues and Fiori groups and how they are used to build authorization roles is essential.

  • Has working knowledge of customers' business domains and technology suite. 

  • Use latest technology, proactively suggest solutions to increase business, and understand customer's business.

Projects Documentation:

  • In-depth understanding documentation involved in Project like BBP & Solution Design, FS etc.
  • Able to build into require project documentation and can do a Peer review for team members project/module documents.

Domain and Industry Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of customers' business processes and relevant technology platforms/products.
  • Ability to prepare process maps, workflows, and business cases with application of industry standards and practices.
  • Creation of medium to complex business models.

Functional Design:

  • Working knowledge of high-level scope analysis, solution design processes, implementation and integration approaches, as well as cross-functional processes.
  • Able to understand and design processes, identify key business drivers, translate use cases into diagrams, update design specifications, and design modular, flexible solutions meeting business requirements.
  • Understand the overall solution's integrity, application behavior, and business rules, providing input for technical components, data design, and prototype creation.
  • Can coordinate process playbacks and prototype reviews with stakeholders and configure applications for realizing business solutions.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Working knowledge of requirement management processes and requirement analysis processes, tools & methodologies.
  • Able to analyze the impact of change requested/ enhancement/ defect fix and identify dependencies or interrelationships among requirements & transition requirements for engagement.

Test Management:

  • Able to perform unit testing & perform comparison testing for rehosting, report testing status and create iteration, system integration test plan and develop integration test cases as required.
  • Execute automation test scripts/manual test cases as per test plan, record findings and DIT Test Cases against the baseline code provided.
  • Identify, report and document defects identified and perform defect fix/ deviations from expected results.
  • Create test cases, test scenarios and test data and perform Development Integration Testing.
