Job Description

Sr Software Engineer - Snowflake

Job description:

At least 5+ years of total experience in IT (data warehousing and data analytics) out of which 4+ years working on Snowflake related implementations.
Design and develop data solutions within the Snowflake cloud data platform, including data warehousing, data lake, and data modelling solutions
Experience working with Snowflake Functions, hands on exp with Snowflake utilities, stage and file upload features, time travel, fail safe
Hands-on in complex SQL, parsing complex data sets
Snowflake Tables/Views/stored procedures/streams/tasks creations/aggregation
AWS Snowflake platform for migration (Good to have experience in AWS S3)
Handling large & complex datasets like JSON, ORC, PARQUET and CSV files
Data lakes, multi-dimensional models, data dictionaries
Data warehousing concepts, data modelling, metadata management
Knowledge of SQL language and cloud-based technologies
Data warehousing concepts, data modelling, metadata management
Performance tuning and setting up resource monitors.
Snowflake modelling roles, databases, schemas
SQL performance measuring, query tuning, and database tuning
ETL tools with cloud-driven skills
Integration with third-party tools
Root cause analysis of models with solutions
Hadoop, Spark, and other warehousing tools
SQL-based databases like Oracle SQL Server, Teradata, etc.
Snowflake warehousing, architecture, processing, administration
Enterprise-level technical exposure to Snowflake application
