Role Overview:

The SAP BTP Technical Architect is responsible for driving end-to-end architecture, solutioning, and innovation initiatives on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The role requires a blend of technical depth, presales acumen, and strategic leadership to design scalable, secure, and future-ready BTP solutions. The Architect will also collaborate closely with business and sales teams to support Go-To-Market (GTM) and Go-To-Customer (GTC) initiatives, and lead the development of reusable tools and accelerators within the BTP Service Line.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Presales & Solutioning
    •    Engage with customers during presales cycles to define architecture and technical roadmaps leveraging SAP BTP capabilities.
    •    Develop and deliver solution proposals, technical presentations, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
    •    Collaborate with bid management and sales teams for proposal responses, estimations, and scoping.
2. Solution Architecture & Delivery
    •    Design end-to-end enterprise solutions integrating SAP and non-SAP systems via BTP.
    •    Lead BTP implementations — from requirements gathering, architecture blueprinting, and build to deployment.
    •    Define best practices for development, security, and governance within BTP landscapes.
    •    Provide technical guidance to delivery teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and scalability principles.
3. GTM / GTC Initiatives
    •    Support GTM strategies in collaboration with product, marketing, and industry teams.
    •    Identify and build BTP-based offerings, reference architectures, and industry-specific accelerators.
    •    Represent the organization in SAP forums, webinars, and thought leadership platforms.
4. Tools & Accelerator Development
    •    Drive the development of reusable assets, frameworks, and productivity tools on SAP BTP.
    •    Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, ML, IoT, GenAI) and integrate them with BTP solutions.
5. Practice Enablement & Service Line Development
    •    Mentor and upskill consultants on BTP services, architecture, and design patterns.
    •    Support internal capability building through training, playbooks, and technical accelerators.
    •    Contribute to service line roadmaps, offerings, and innovation initiatives.
    •    Participate in defining BTP adoption frameworks, cost optimization models, and governance practices.

Required Skills & Experience
    •    Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP services — Integration Suite, Extension Suite, SAP Build, CAP (Cloud Application Programming), RAP (Restful ABAP Programming).
    •    Expertise in cloud-native development (Node.js, Java, Python) and API-based integrations.
    •    Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Connector, and on-premise/cloud integration patterns.
    •    Proven experience in presales and client-facing solutioning roles.
    •    Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
