Our Infrastructure Service Line is looking for a " Pre Sales Consultant”. This role is for the IT professional who thrives on challenges and has the desire to make a real difference in the world of Business. What you should have?

 

  • 8+ years’ experience in IMS PreSales in IMS (Datacenter, Cloud Infrastructure Network, End User Computing Services, IT Service Desk).
  • Excellent In communication (writing, presenting, and speaking) skills.
  • Independently coordinate with multiple teams during the Bid stage to create solutions and pricing.
  • Worked with ISG/PwC/ PaceHarmon/ ATKearney/ Consultants led deals.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills and Excel Skills.
  • Should be Expert in Estimating / Pricing Large deals / communicate with Delivery Leaders for approvals and Finance for their approvals.
  • Should have presented in front of Global (preferably) US Customers.
  • Responsible for pre-sales activities for RFP/RFI/RFQs within the Infrastructure Services space.
  • Lead/Participate in Solutioning/Sizing/Business Case/Pricing activities.
  • Working with specific IMS technology/product management/finance/delivery teams.
  • Lead/Participate in Due Diligence/Customer Meetings/Solution Offerings.
  • Managing Client Visits.
  • Developing vertical-specific infrastructure offerings/solutions and supporting collaterals.
  • Responsibilities Be an integral component of a selling pod including the following :
  • Shaping the value proposition and benefit for both the immediate opportunity and long term customer success.
  • Be ready and eager to travel to meet prospects, customers, and partners in support of a sales goal.
  • Demonstrate the Celebrus solution on-site, through webinar sessions, conferences, or trade shows.
  • Have the capability to respond to RFI / RFP in a way that is both precise, accurate, and with a memorable tone.
  • Be organized, analytical, a self - starter playing within a small team environment.
  • Steer a path to reduce the need for a PoC, but when required define the PoC shape to be brief, effective and with a positive outcome to close the deal.                                                                         
  • IT Infrastructure Skills – IT service delivery managers are familiar with IT Infrastructure technology.
  • Technical experience – IT service delivery managers typically have previous technical experience as well as prior experience managing technical teams.
  • Infrastructure development – IT service delivery managers have strong knowledge of the principles and processes of infrastructure development.
  • Familiarity with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library – IT service delivery managers are familiar with the processes and tasks described in the ITIL, which is a manual for IT service management.
  • Leadership – IT service delivery managers have the essential leadership skills to encourage teamwork and motivate employees.
  • Problem-solving skills – since they often face problems in their work, IT service delivery managers need strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot effectively.

  • Resource management, Utilization, Billing & Management reporting
  • Employee retention, motivation, and training
  • Responsible for overall implementation and execution of the Technical project components
  • Responsible for managing workstream leads and deliverables
  • Responsible for overall implementation strategy inclusive of testing strategy and overall execution of the identified workstreams
  • May be required to contribute to development, wherever necessary
  • Develop a master test strategy detailing the testing approach (Unit/ Integration/ User Acceptance)
  • Assists in resolving issues identified by the project team (Technical, logistics, infrastructure, environment, etc.)
  • Ensure prompt communication to a customer in case of delays with adequate supporting reasons for the delay
  • Identification and quantification of risks associated with the project tasks
  • Identifies and escalates any scope change, potential risks, and issues
  • Support the communication plan and activities
  • Supports PMO project status updates to the Steering Committee on a regular basis and escalates issues and risks appropriately
  • Works with PM to assign resources for projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
  • Plan, design and deliver strategic projects to bring business benefits and value to the Organization
  • Conducting various phases of transition: Pre-Transition, Transition Phase & Post-Transition Phase Scheduling & Planning Project requirements.
  • Manage and Track Project Milestones and Project expenses
  • Prepare the Project Plan
  • Follow Transition Management and Governance model and Processes
  • Work closely with Project Stakeholders and delivery team.
  • Maintain good Business relationships with Project stakeholders.
  • End to end responsibility for the Transition.
  • Provide project updates and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Technical and Management teams in Bangalore and globally.
  • Project Scoping.
  • Transition Budget tracking and forecasting as applicable
  • Documenting the agreed outcome & processes.
  • Designing, procuring & deploying the technology.
  • Leading SLA discussions with clients by involving relevant people
  • Ensuring continuous improvements in service levels by benchmarking the best practices.
  • Coordinating with various functions during the course of transition
  • Smooth Handover to operations teams.
