Sr. Software Engineer - Power Automate Job

We are looking forward to hire Power Automate Professionals in the following areas :

5–7 years hands-on with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), AI Builder, and SharePoint  with Copilot Studio

(formerly Power Virtual Agents).

Role Summary

We are seeking a consultant who can design, build, secure, and govern HR-facing copilots and Power Platform solutions end-to-end. The role requires expertise in Copilot Studio orchestration, knowledge sources, prompt safety, AI Builder extraction, Power Apps form logic & responsiveness, Power Automate error handling & ownership, and licensing/governance for enterprise rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Copilot Studio (Design & Best Practices)

• Author instructions/system prompts for HR copilots using guardrails, tone, scope, and fallback patterns.
• Configure knowledge sources with primary/secondary precedence and web-off mode.
• Implement safety content filters and restricted topics (harms, self-harm, violence).
• Build agent-to-agent handoffs using event triggers & actions; configure welcome messages, topics, and orchestration flows.

2. AI Builder & Document Intelligence

• Use AI Builder prebuilt models (Form Processing, Document Processing, Receipt, ID Reader) for extracting fields from PDFs uploaded in Copilot Studio chats.
• Return structured results inline in chat as tabular adaptive cards or rich responses.

3. Power Apps (Canvas)

• Build responsive canvas apps with container-based layouts (horizontal vs vertical containers), auto-layout, and dynamic sizing formulas.
• Build multi-form submissions (combine 3 forms → one SharePoint record) using Patch, Collect/UpdateContext, and validation patterns.
• Understand delegation, filter/search patterns, and performance optimization.

4. Power Automate

• Design robust flows with error handling (Configure run after, scope patterns, Try–Catch–Finally, concurrency control, retries, and exceptions logging).
• Understand execution context (flows triggered from Power Apps run in flow owner context; email-on-behalf patterns via Send as/shared mailbox or On-behalf-of techniques, with security).
• Manage flow ownership transfer, solution-aware ALM, and runtime ownership constraints.

5. Security & Governance

• Configure Dataverse security (Environment roles, Security roles, Business Units, Teams, user-level access, row-level security via Access Teams, and sharing).
• Enforce compliance & DLP policies; ensure copilots don’t pull from the web unless permitted.

6. Licensing & Costing

• Estimate Copilot Studio message consumption per conversation & Power Apps/Power Automate entitlements for premium connectors.
• Provide clear licensing guidance for apps with premium flow calls and multi-screen usage.
