Job Description

Looking for NetSuite ERP/Finance and S&D TechnoFunctional Consultant with 10+ Years of Implementation/Enhancement experience.

 

Lead the implementation and configuration of NetSuite modules based on business requirements across Finance and S&D modules.

Review the Finance and S&D Business process and requirement, Refine Backlogs, do prioritization and implement/customize the features as per business requirement. 
Gather and analyze business requirements to develop effective solutions using NetSuite functionalities.
Provide guidance and support to the NetSuite Functional Consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, IT, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Customize and optimize NetSuite workflows, scripts, and configurations to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
Develop and deliver training sessions to end-users and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting post-implementation.
Stay updated with NetSuite features, releases, and best practices to recommend continuous improvements and optimizations.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines

 

Responsibilities:

1.           Strategic Planning and Governance • To take active role in the implementation of pre-defined governance processes (e.g. user access review, data definitions and validation rules) for all financial modules. • To support compliance monitoring by documentation of system changes and adhering to audit requirements. • To help maintain Finance Technology roadmap backlog (e.g. log enhancements requests, track progress)

2.           Functional & Technical Execution Configuration • Configure financial workflows (e.g. AR invoice approvals, AP payment terms) with minimal supervision. • Support localization requirement gathering, setup/configuration (e.g. tax rules, multi currency) for Global Blueprint compliance. Development • Develop and maintain basic SuiteScript 2.x. scripts. • Build and troubleshoot saved searches, dashboard, and KPIs for Finance stakeholders. • Assist in data migration and minor integration (REST/SOAP API testing)

3.           User Training & Documentation • Work with implementation partner ensuring step-by-step user guides and FAQ for new features (e.g. expense report submissions, report filters, etc) is drafted. • Work with relevant department within Ben Line to ensure d “AS IS” process is documented(e.g. O2C, P2P) as required and contribute to efficiency improvement initiatives. • Create and execute testing plan, supporting identified business scenarios. 3 • Ensure complete documentation of configurations, scripts, and process change for compliance.

Functional:

• Basic understanding of financial processes (O2C, P2P) and compliance • Ability to translate business scenario into test-cases. • Familiarity with agile frameworks and tools, such as Azure Board and Jira will be advantageous. • Create and manage saved searches, dashboards, KPIs, and basic workflows. Good understanding/grasp of NetSuite Financial module (AP,AR, GL) • Good Understanding of testing methodology and execution • Awareness of data governance principles, especially around master data, RBAC, audit requirements.

Technical:

• NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, SuiteAnalytics, etc.). • Experience with SuiteFlow, REST/SOAP APIs. • Exposure to data migration tools (csv import, data loader) • Familiarity with SQL, PowerBI will be advantage.

  • Analyze current-state and define to-be processes in collaboration with SME and present recommendations with tangible benefits.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, ROI analysis through innovation.

Functional Design:

  • Specialized knowledge of solution design, scope analysis, and building blocks for business cases.
  • Identifying key business drivers and translating them into solution components
  • Creating diagrams from use cases and updating design specifications
  • Understanding functional specifications and designing flexible solutions
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to explain the solution approach
  • Offering solution options based on research and coordinating process playbacks and reviews for business solutions.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Specialized knowledge of requirement management processes and requirement analysis processes, tools & methodologies.
  • Extract requirements for complex scenarios and prototype independently.
  • Identify modules impacted, features/functionalities impacted and arrive at high level estimates.
  • Develop traceability matrix and identify transition requirements.

Test Management:

  • Able to create iteration, system integration test plan and develop integration test cases as required and verify system build, test environment and iteration test plan.
  • Create business scenario test cases and automation test scripts based on understanding of functionality requirements.
  • Conduct regression tests as required and impact analysis when a defect fix is made.
