Job Description

  • Proficient with AWS Cloud technologies for SAP Workload migration on AWS ( SAP RISE)
  • Provide advisory role to Ingenia team especially the IT Director on all cloud aspects that covers AWS , SAP Migration

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

Change & Release Management:

  • Specialized knowledge of Change Record (CR) tool, Change management activities, and Release management activities.
  • Monitor and improve the effectiveness of change management process.
  • Enforce change management activities, and conduct change impact assessment
  • Manage any CRs that need to be excluded from SLA reporting.
  • Efficiently communicate changes, change status, and management activities to stakeholders.

Configuration Management:

  • Good knowledge of configuration management tools & processes, release management tools & process
  • Manage the CI life cycle for a couple of CI types, ensure modifications to CMDB are recorded, and monitor the configuration management process.
  • Identify configurable items, access privilege, support the audit process, and implement corrective action.
  • Define scope for release, plan release schedule and requirements, and devise back-out plan.

Customer & Stakeholder Management:

  • Has working knowledge of customers' business domains and technology suite.
  • Use latest technology, proactively suggest solutions to increase business, and understand customer's business.

Incident/ Request Management:

  • Expert knowledge of MS Excel (Graphs/creating/modifying) and the Incident Management Process/lifecycle.
  • Create and manage Incidents and Requests, enforce management activities, facilitate daily operation meetings, communicate status and activities to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Drive weekly Incident/Request Management aging meeting, and perform account-specific assessments.

Infrastructure Management:

  • In depth understanding of Infrastructure concepts on both on-premise and cloud.
  • Support on-premise and different cloud providers and execute infrastructure automation scripts as per defined SOP and centralized process.
  • Create iteration, infra-as-code implementation plan, and generic plans as required.
  • Identify and resolve issues in the infrastructure, conduct impact analysis for identified risks and gaps, and carry out RCA for recurring infrastructure issues.

Knowledge Management:

  • Expert-level knowledge of Knowledge Management principles and practices.
  • Broad and deep understanding of the field and are recognized as leaders in the industry.
  • Write white papers/ blogs at internal and external level

Organizational Awareness:

  • Good understanding of commercial context and organizational culture.
  • Understands and uses organization's structures, rules and networks.
  • Knows, respects and fully subscribes to organization's code of conduct and values.

Problem Management:

  • Facilitate the Problem Management Process, identify unsuccessful changes, and define separate problem record for required parties.
  • Conduct periodic reviews on progress and completion of problem records.

Service Level Management:

  • Assist in SLA compliance and monitoring, support customer environment, and provide standardized procedures to restore services.
  • Minimize adverse impact of disruption of services on business operations.

Platform/ Technology Knowledge:

  • Implement and configure/customize products and contribute to reusable assets and solutions.
  • Analyze frameworks/tools and present recommendations and develop training materials.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership through whitepapers and webinars.
