Experience

We are seeking a Senior Oracle EBS SCM Technical Consultant who can bridge the gap between supply chain requirements and system architecture developing, integrating, and maintaining RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows) within modules like Inventory, Purchasing, and Order Management

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

    • RICEFW Development: Design and build custom components using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports / BI Publisher
    • Data Migration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) legacy supply chain data into EBS using standard API's, Open Interfaces, and Data Loader
    • System Integration: Develop and maintain interfaces and APIs to facilitate data exchange between Oracle EBS and external third-party or legacy systems. 
    • Workflow & Forms Customization: Modify existing workflows and design new custom extensions and forms to align the system with unique operational processes.
    • Technical Documentation: Author Technical Specification documents (e.g., MD070), detailing system architecture, table structures, and code logic for functional or development teams. 
    • Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot complex system performance issues, optimize slow-running SQL queries, and monitor concurrent programs to ensure seamless operations.
    • Upgrades & Patching: Assist in system upgrades (e.g., R12.1 to R12.2) and apply necessary database patches while ensuring custom objects remain compatible

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Work Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\

Technical Expertise

  • Programming: Master level in SQL, PL/SQL, Packages, Procedures, Functions, and Triggers.
  • Development Tools: Proficiency in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, JDeveloper, and SQL Developer.
  • Frameworks: Extensive experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle Workflow Builder.
  • Data Tools: Strong knowledge of standard Oracle Open Interfaces and APIs for data conversion.

Functional & Domain Knowledge

  • Core Modules: Deep understanding of Oracle SCM data models and table structures for Inventory (INV), Purchasing (PO), and Order Management (OM).
  • Methodologies: Experience with the Oracle Application Implementation Methodology (AIM), specifically creating documents like MD070 (Technical Design) and TE020 (Unit Test Script)
