Role Overview

The SOC Operations Manager will lead multi-client security operations, ensuring effective monitoring, detection, and response across diverse environments. This role requires expertise in SIEM platforms, strong leadership in managing SOC analysts, and the ability to balance operational efficiency with client-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client SOC Oversight Manage SOC operations for multiple client environments, ensuring tailored monitoring, incident response, and compliance.
  • SIEM Management Oversee SIEM deployments across multiple clients, including log ingestion, rule tuning, correlation, playbook automation, and dashboard optimization.
  • Incident Response Leadership Act as escalation point for critical incidents, coordinating with client IT/security teams and MSSP leadership.
  • Team Leadership Lead SOC analysts across shifts, ensuring coverage, skill development, and performance management.
  • Process Standardization Establish common playbooks, escalation paths, and reporting templates across all client SOCs.
  • Metrics & Reporting Track KPIs (MTTD, MTTR, SLA adherence) and deliver weekly/monthly reports to each client.
  • Compliance & Audit Readiness Ensure SOC operations align with ISO 27001, NIST and client-specific regulatory frameworks.

 Required Skills

  • SIEM Expertise: Deep knowledge of SIEM platforms (Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, LogRhythm, etc.), including correlation rules and threat hunting.
  • Multi-client MSSP Experience: Ability to balance priorities across multiple client environments.
  • Leadership: Strong people management, shift planning, and mentoring.
  • Communication: Clear reporting to both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, ITIL, or vendor-specific SIEM certifications.
