Job description:

 

 

  • Position Title: Senior SAP S/4 HANA Developer

 

  • Experience and Qualifications:
    • 5 –10 years in SAP S/4HANA technical development, with recent projects focusing on SAP S/4HANA.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
    • Experience in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Implementation, Migration, Rollout or Support projects.

 

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and implement custom SAP S/4 HANA solutions, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows (RICEFW), for various SAP streams (C2O, I2C, I2M, O2S, R2R, S2C, S2P)
    • Develop S/4 HANA capabilities for seamless integration with other internal and external systems using various methods such as OData services, REST APIs, IDocs, and web services.
    • Optimize existing and new SAP applications for performance and efficiency using SAP S/4 HANA capabilities, ensuring faster execution and reduced data load on the application server.
    • Create and optimize advanced data models and views using Core Data Services (CDS) viewsAMDPs (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) for performance tuning and code optimization
    • Identify and resolve issues in SAP Fiori and UI5 applications, enhance standard Fiori apps by optimizing OData services and improving overall application performance
    • Perform ATC check and ABAP code remediation for HANA compatibility
    • Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform performance tuning, and provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP S/4 HANA applications
    • Create comprehensive Technical Documentation, and ensure all development adheres to coding standards and best practices
    • Perform Peer and Code Review Activities
    • Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks

 

  • Required Skills:
    • Deep Knowledge: Extensive experience with Object-Oriented ABAP, S/4HANA architecture, CDS views, AMDPs, OData services.
    • Custom Development: Expertise in creating and customizing S/4HANA objects including interfacing with third party systems or applications.
    • OData Expertise: In-depth knowledge of OData services and SAP Gateway for integrating Fiori apps with backend systems.
    • Service Development: Experience in creating, configuring, and managing OData services.
    • Integration: Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for extending and integrating Fiori apps, if applicable.
    • Data Migration: Understanding of MDG frameworks including WebDynpro/FPM and its integration with S/4HANA
    • Complex Issue Resolution: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to S/4HANA and integrations.
    • Technical Documentation: Proficiency in creating detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
    • Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders, leading teams, and presenting solutions.
