We are seeking an experienced EDI JDE Consultant to design, develop, implement, and support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions integrated with Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in EDI transactions, JDE business processes, trading partner integrations, and middleware platforms to ensure seamless data exchange across customers, vendors, logistics providers, and external business partners.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into EDI/JDE integration solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and support EDI interfaces between JD Edwards and external trading partners.
• Configure and maintain EDI transaction sets such as:
• Develop and maintain JDE EDI outbound and inbound processes.
• Work with JDE modules including:
• Troubleshoot EDI transaction failures and resolve production issues.
• Coordinate onboarding of new trading partners and validate mapping specifications.
• Develop and maintain EDI maps using middleware platforms such as:
• Monitor daily EDI processing and ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and external partners.
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements related to EDI and JDE.
• Create technical documentation, mapping specifications, and support procedures.
• Participate in testing activities including unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment.

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in EDI implementation and support.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Experience with JDE EDI modules and integration architecture.
• Knowledge of JDE tables, UBE processing, and interface development.
• Experience with EDI mapping and translation tools.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SQL and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AS2, FTP/SFTP, VAN, and web service integrations.
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, XSLT, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with JDE Orchestrator and Business Services (BSSV).
• Exposure to cloud integration platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Boomi, or MuleSoft.
• Experience working in manufacturing, retail, distribution, or supply chain environments.
• Oracle JD Edwards certification is a plus.
