Lead Consultant - JDE Developer + EDI Consultant Job

We are seeking an experienced JDE Developer and EDI Consultant to design, develop, support, and enhance integrations between JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) and external trading partners, customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and third-party applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in JD Edwards development, EDI transactions, business process analysis, and enterprise integration technologies.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions supporting Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Finance processes.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• JD Edwards Development

  • Design, develop, customize, and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications.
  • Develop and maintain:
  • Business Functions (BSFN)
  • Named Event Rules (NER)
  • Table Conversions
  • UBE Reports
  • Interactive Applications
  • Orchestrator Integrations
  • Form Extensions and Personalizations
  • Perform data analysis and create complex SQL queries.
  • Develop custom reports and interfaces.
  • Support package builds, deployments, and promotions across environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

  EDI Integration

  • Design, implement, and support EDI integrations with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Configure and maintain EDI transaction sets including:
  • 810 Invoice
  • 850 Purchase Order
  • 855 Purchase Order Acknowledgement
  • 856 Advance Shipping Notice (ASN)
  • 820 Payment Remittance
  • 846 Inventory Inquiry
  • 940 Warehouse Shipping Order
  • 945 Warehouse Shipping Advice
  • Manage inbound and outbound EDI data flows.
  • Troubleshoot mapping, translation, and communication issues.
  • Work with VAN, AS2, FTP/SFTP, and API-based integrations.

  Integration & Automation

  • Develop integrations using:
  • JDE Orchestrator
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP Services
  • Middleware platforms
  • File-based integrations
  • Collaborate with integration teams to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Optimize existing interfaces and improve automation processes.

  Support & Governance

  • Participate in production support and incident management.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolution of integration failures.
  • Create technical design documents and support documentation.
  • Follow SDLC, change management, and compliance processes.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior team members.

• Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution, or Supply Chain industries.
