Experience
We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance Functional Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Financials. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM), along with proven experience in Oracle EBS rollouts and implementations.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and integration teams to translate business requirements into functional solutions, configure Oracle EBS applications, and ensure successful project delivery across all phases.

Job Description
Responsibilities
- As a functional consultant for Oracle EBS Financial modules including AP, AR, GL, FA, and CM.
- Lead and support Oracle EBS rollout & support projects, including global or multi-entity rollouts.
- Engage with business users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Convert business requirements into functional design and configuration of Oracle EBS Financial modules.
- Perform application setup and configuration, including setups for ledgers, accounting setups, taxation, and reporting structures.
- Work closely with technical and integration teams to design, develop, and test customizations, extensions, reports, and interfaces.
- Support data migration, financial reconciliation, and validation activities during implementation and upgrades.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
- Configuration Documents (CV)
- Test scripts and UAT support documentation
- Training materials and user manuals
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
- Provide end-user training, system walkthroughs, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and support resolution in a timely manner. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant.
- Strong functional knowledge of: AP, AR, GL, FA, CM
- Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS implementations and rollouts.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes.
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively.
- Experience working with technical components such as interfaces, reports (XML Publisher), and extensions
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience in testing, support, and post-go-live stabilization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle EBS R12 experience (mandatory).
- Experience working in multi-country or multi-legal entity environments.
- Knowledge of taxation, localization, and compliance requirements.
- Exposure to Oracle Financial Project Accounting (PA) is a plus.
- Oracle certification(s) in Financial modules is an added advantage.
