Job Description:

 Required Skills/Experience

  • Experience: 8+ years of development or software delivery experience with 3+ years in Scrum master or delivery lead role 
  • Agile Expertise: Clear understanding and implementation of agile way of working and experience with Scrum, Kanban, Lean
  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Master, PSM or PMI-ACP equivalent agile certifications
  • Proficient with tools like Jira, service now etc. and willing to adopt new tools or frameworks for the teams benefit.
  • Technical Knowledge: Acquainted with cloud, AWS, Devops fundamentals , Databases, Quality management practices
  • Outcome driven facilitation and interpersonal skills

Job Responsibility:

  • Acts as the delivery lead / Scrum master for the software development team to accelerate value delivery and collaboration
  • Proficient in facilitating outcome driven Scrum or Agile events like sprint planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Daily Scrum.
  • Coach the adoption of Agile values and principles for teams; adds value through cross functional skill sets (Technical, devops, engineering)
  • Effectively uses tools like burndowns, metrics and agile practices to drive out waste and continuously improve
  • Drive identification & closure of measurable improvements every sprint 
  • Utilizes data driven approach for constraint and waste identification; primarily based on flow/value stream visualization
  • Help with removing impediments and/or raise impediments to the Action Team
  • Track and monitor delivery metrics, team net promoter score, quality metrics, and product health metrics with a holistic view of measuring progress toward business agility
  • Precipitate change by bringing forward and articulating new or different ideas and support implementation
  • Leans in to learn from the coaching community and acts on feedback to grow and succeed
  • Work with managers and team members to ensure that new team members are successfully onboarded to agile events and team practices
  • Pairs or partners with development team, work closely to understand, support delivery, quality and remove impediment.
  • Partners with product manager and team to support clear actionable product backlog with effective backlog refinements

 

Desired Skills/Experience  

  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading and mentoring of agile teams with successful delivery of complex projects
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and proactive communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with team , key roles and leaders
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a focus on removing impediments and driving team-success
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a facts-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familarity with Scaled agile framework like SAFe is plus.

Education Details

Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
